Friday,
May 8 — Fort Lauderdale, FL (Sail 6:00pm)
Wave to the Florida coast as our Regent Seven Seas VOYAGER cruises
north along the Atlantic seaboard.
Saturday/Sunday,
May 9/10 — At Sea
Leisurely days at sea with time to enjoy the ship’s amenities
or a workshop on board. Our enrichment program begins with Dr. Alex
Filippenko. Join him on deck tonight for a lecture under May’s
Full Moon.
Monday,
May 11 — New York, NY 8:00am – 6:00pm
Early arrival will be spectacular as we cruise past the Statue of
Liberty onto the Hudson River. A day to enjoy many sights of the
city. A variety of tours are available including the Metropolitan
and the Natural History Museums.
Tuesday,
May 12 — Newport, RI 8:00am – 3:00pm
A storybook collection of luxurious mansions of another era take
you back in time. Here you will find a world of exceptional elegance
and inspiration in architecture, art, interior design and landscapes.
Explore 250 years of American history from 11 historic properties.
Wednesday,
May 13 — Boston, MA 9:00am – 7:00pm
Follow the Historic Walking Trail for our country’s beginnings
or enjoy a cup of Boston Beans at the harbor before returning to
the VOYAGER.
Thursday,
May 14 — Bar Harbor, ME 8:00am – 4:00pm
Bar Harbor offers another town from the "Gilded Age",
the island's Native American heritage, the Gulf of
Maine's unique eco-systems. The fun award winning micro-brews and
the natural wonder of Acadia
National Park offer many varieties of activities.
Friday,
May 15 — Halifax, Nova Scotia 9:00am – 6:00pm
Halifax has grown for over 200 years around one of the deepest natural
harbors in
North America. This major population center has something of interest
for every
visitor, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic including the popular
Titanic exhibit.
Saturday,
May 16 — At Sea
Continue with our enrichment program with another talk from Dr.
Fileppenko. Time for
exploring the vessel or a relaxing spa.
Sunday,
May 17 — L’Anse Aux Meadows 8:00am – 1:00pm
L’Anse aux Meadows is the only known Norse site in North America
outside Greenland
and Iceland and represents the farthest known extent of European
exploration before
Christopher Columbus. Learn about the Norse Sagas, also in Iceland,
written versions
of their older oral traditions describe the experiences of Norse
Greenlanders who
discovered and attempted to settle a land west of Greenland identified
as Vinland.

Wednesday/Thursday,
May 20/21 — Arrival in Reykjavik 5:00pm
Cruising all day before our arrival in Iceland in the afternoon.
As we come around the
island, watch for the many birds which inhabit the cliffs and crannies.

Nature is hard at work in Iceland, one of the newest places on Earth.
A land of fire and ice and a volcano which inspired Jules Verne’s
