Subscription Details

The ASP offers Institutions a special subscription rate to Mercury magazine, our quarterly magazine. Mercury is an electronic-only magazine. It continues to carry semi-technical articles on current topics in astronomy, astrophysics, and space science, and is increasingly concentrating on how research scientists are becoming more involved in public education and outreach. Mercury is published four times per year, in January, April, July, and October. You will receive notification as to how to access Mercury prior to the first 2009 publication. We do not require a license agreement for institutional subscriptions. Starting in 2009, Institutional Mercury access will be via IP address authentication.

The rate is $48 per year for all institutions (U.S. & Foreign). If you use a subscription agency, please contact the agency to renew or order. You may also order online or send us a purchase order using the information and order information below.

Renewal notices will be mailed four months in advance before the subscription expires. New subscriptions will receive a full year of magazines starting with the January issue of that year. Please note: subscriptions are not refundable.

Note: ASP Membership benefits are not included with the Institutional Mercury Subscriptions. If you wish to receive these benefits, you must join the ASP as an Individual or Technical Member. More information on membership.

Payment Methods: Purchase Order, Money Order, Check, or Credit Card. (U.S. Currency only). Wire transfers are accepted with a $30 bank fee. Please contact membership {at} astrosociety.org if you wish to pay by this method.
