About the Conference

The year 2022 ended with the excitement building around the upcoming solar eclipses and stunning images coming from the JWST.

Astro 101 instructors, K-12 educators, scientists, science communicators, and public engagement professionals in astronomy and related fields met last December for ASP2022: A Virtual Conference, the 134th Annual Meeting of the ASP filled with exciting plenary sessions, interactive sessions, and oral talks!

The ASP virtual conferences continue to support the increasing science literacy through the public’s excitement about space, new telescopes, and modern astronomy!
