The
ASP proudly presented an evening at the ASP in San Francisco on
March 2, 2006 celebrating 20 Years of Space Art with world-reknowned
artist Lynette Cook. This special evening featured original paintings
from her new book Infinite Worlds, a book signing, and an
exhibit of over 15 original paintings on loan from the collections
of the Morrison Planetarium, The SETI Institute and other private
collections. Local members and friends of the ASP enjoyed
refreshments generously provided by MWT Associates, Inc, sponsor
of the ASP travel program. A limited quantity of autographed copies
of the book are available on the ASP's AstroShop
to purchase. You can visit Lynette
Cook's website to see more of her imagery.
The
exhibit will be open to the public March 3 - May 5
Fridays 10 A.M. PT - 2:00 P.M. PT.
