Workshops and Conferences

NSTA conferences offer the latest in science content, teaching strategy, and research, all presented by science educators who want to enhance and expand their professional growth. They also offer featured speakers, educational field trips, short courses, exciting social events, and the largest exhibition of science materials around.

NSTA generally hosts four conferences each year - a national conference in the spring and three regional conferences in the fall.

North/Midwestern - Detroit, MI: October 18-20
Western - Denver, CO: November 8-10
Southern - Birmingham, AL: December 6-8

Chautauqua Short Courses

Summer 2007/January 2008

The NSF Chautauqua Program is offering 13 courses for college and high school teachers through the University of Washington (UWA) Center. Astronomy-related courses will be held during the summer of 2007 and 3 courses in January 2008 at UWA and other sites through the United States and Canada.
